Rots In De Branding
Zeilen Van Vrijheid asked me to customize one of their ambulances which got send out to Ukraine to lend aid for those in need. On the painting Birdman is depicted on a rock in the water, a spirit is coming towards to him to lend him aid.
The painting is called “Rots in de branding” which is a Dutch saying and translates to “rock in the surf”, meaning: no matter how much violence there is around you, you stand firm.
